Ferrari 360 Modena crashes and burns but the driver walks away O.K.

Like a set of dental records are used to identify a badly charred body, the only thing that is left from this Italian super car that is now a pile of molten metal is a lone five spoke alloy wheel with a little yellow prancing horse emblem in the center to let onlookers know that it was one a Ferrari 360 Modena. Apparently the 32 year old driver was enjoying a spirited country drive with an older female riding shotgun when he unexpectedly lost control in a swooping bend and then flipped over multiple times before landing in a crop field and then bursting into flames, however unlike the other Ferrari 360 incident that we reported on earlier, this time all that the driver walked away with was a broken ankle.

Thanks to the quick actions of a benevolent motorist who happened to be passing by just after the accident occurred and then courageously pulled both the driver and 37 year old passenger from the wreckage before they were harmed by the fire. The passengers were then treated by firefighters on the scene of the accident as they waited for paramedics. The driver only suffered a broken right ankle while the female was air lifted to the hospital with pelvic wounds however her condition was not life threatening. Had it not been for the quick acting passerby, the Ferraristas would have certainly suffered a more tragic fate. The 360 Modena involved in the incident was a 1999-2000 model that originally sold for around $150,000 and was the first production Ferrari to make use of extremely light weight aluminum and carbon fiber construction that made it an extremely agile sports car, but also a highly flammable automobile.

Pink Audi R8 caught cruising around the Netherlands

We have seen a plethora of pink super cars recently Everything from the highly modified Mansory Vitesse Rose based on a Bentley Continental to slightly lesser Lamborghini Gallados, Bugatti Veyrons and even a pink Pagani Zonda. It is foreign to us here at Top Speed, but there is something about this very feminine shade of red that somehow appeals to the owners of some of the world’s most powerful speed machines, and who are we to argue with them.

This two tone extremely pink Audi R8 super car is another fine example of what Barbie, or Paris Hilton for that matter, might be driving if she could cruise he Autobahn. As it comes from the factory, the old R8 is an amazing automobile; with its 420 HP high revving V8 and the stability of Quattro all wheel drive. The new V10 powered R8 however is a beast of a higher pedigree, the 500+ HP aluminum Audi super car will begin to challenge the likes of Lamborghinis worldwide with its newfound power under the clear deck lid.

Personally we would go with flat black before we would go the whole nine yards with a pastel paint like this R8 owner chose to. Despite their best attempts, this feminine finish doesn’t take away from the Audi super car’s powerful appearance. However what we want to know is, where did they get the pink carbon fiber for the R8’s side blades?

Daring mystery model continues to create waves as more pics surface

More pictures of the mystery model spotted at the Super Import Nights car show have surfaced, creating an online stir.

STOMP has received a number of emails, some of which with more pictures of the model who revealed a lot more than what normal models would.

One email links to her online gallery and suggests that the model is known as 'Sunshine Tracy'.

In another email from STOMPer S I SHAH:

"I was at the Super Import Nights and saw this model.

"I can't forget her. She gave me a very sweet pose."

In yesterday's report:

This mystery model apparently appeared at a car show with two photographers in tow, and raised many eyebrows with her incredibly high hemline and revealing poses on top of an exhibit car.

STOMPer Shawn spotted this woman at the Super Import Nights car show, held from Sep 18 to 21 at the Singapore Expo.

The model, dressed in a very short dress, was making a variety of sexy poses sprawled on a car. As the cameras snapped away, she was also revealing more than what normal models did.

In the STOMPer's email dated Sep 28:

"This is the self-employed model at the Super Import Nights show.

"She came with two photographers to shoot for her.

"The uncle photographers around really appreciated her brave actions and poses."

Latest update: An Internet search reveals that she is a freelance model who does a large variety of shoots, including bridal gowns and race cars.

STOMP did not publish photos that were more explicit. We are contacting the STOMPer for more details.

BUT! my advice to you is, DON'T!

Batmobile gone horribly wrong

For all you Batman-loving car nuts out there, we’re now telling you to turn away and not even bother to look at this.

But if you can’t resist, then we won’t blame you either.

This car is not the Batmobile. No. No. No.

What it is is a 2001 Chevrolet Camaro that has been face-lifted to make it look – at the very least – like the Dark Knight’s ride. While his expectations of what a Batmobile looks like differs greatly from the entire human population, we can’t help but appreciate the effort.

That is, until, we scoured the car and found a few minor mishaps said owner has done with his re-styling. First of all, he needs to work on his spelling as evidenced by the tag line ‘King of Gothem City’ emblazoned on right rear side of the car. Second of all, we understand the whole concept of posting stickers on the rear window, provided it doesn’t impede the driver’s vision when he checks out his rear-view mirror, but this guy decided that small stickers have no place in his ‘Batmobile’ so he went with a sticker that almost covers the entire rear window.

Way to go, Bruce Wayne!
